Glorietta Aftermath

It was a lazy day Friday and almost everyone was anticipating the coming weekends. Busy as usual in the metro and something unexpected happened, the Glorietta Explosion.

Although as of now, it is still under investigation if the explosion was accident by nature (as in ganito ba kalakas sumabog ang isang LPG Tank? Wow!) or if it was really a terrorist act. What we cannot deny is lives were lost in that tragedy.

You can just feel the grief and the helplessness of those who have lost their love ones.

The same tragedy that spurred txt messages like these...

If its really true or just another hoax, hindi natin maiaalis yung pag-alala na puede pa rin tayong maging biktima, Imagine thats Glorietta and most of us thought it was one of the safest place.

From here too... we get to think, ano nanaman ang bwakanang rason! meron bang reason para bombahin ang isang mataong lugar?!? na may mga inosenteng sibilyan? no reason can justify this kind of means... its just plain power tripping. Nakakaparanoid din to think if this is just another misdirection tactics to divert the public and media attention from big issues the government is going through as well.

Today... we can only share the pain of those who have lost their loveones, although for sure we can only imagine the pain they are feeling. Tomorrow, we should be more vigilant so that we ourselves can keep our streets, home and our society safe. It takes the will of everyone to fight for what is right not just praying "wag sana mangyari sa akin/amin yon..."

Nakakatakot talaga yung Glorietta Explosion nun Friday.

the crooks behind these deserves nothing less but the iron fist of justice!
