iPhone – iCaramba!

I haven’t even touched an iPhone, pero na-feature na ito sa ilang mga TV shows, flashing its touch screen, superb user friendly environment, pag nag fli-flip ka nga page sa notebook, you can zoom in and out a picture by catching the image with your thumb and index finger. Wala nga itong
Buttons and it purely relies on its touch screen. Technically the iPhone has 4-8Gig shared memory, Wifi ready, Touch Screen siempre! (dapat banggitin ng paulit-ulit-ulit) pero wala itong 3G!!! What? Pero ok lang lang… meron naman syang EDGE (faster from of GPRS) to connect to the Internet. With its Safari browser specialized talaga ang phone na to browse Yahoo, Google and YouTube (The only phone that can actually view YouTube videos). (for complete specs).

Medyo malupit lang kasi eh, malaking balita na ma-unlock ang much coveted phone locked to Cingular USA! I mean what can be so special about the phone? That we haven’t actually saw before and making all of the hype… here is an interesting review by Crave. Realistic and funny yes…

“Why no 3G compatibility? The answer might be as simple as the fact that Cingular's 3G coverage still has gaping holes outside of major U.S. cities. “

Waha! No 3G? well… ang laki naman kasi ng US eh, and with all the news about the low consumer output and enthusiasm about 3G eh, hindi na nakakagulat kung bakit hindi nag-utilize ang Cingular building a 3G Smartphone, but of course they could have took advantage of it to further introduce 3G, nah… ikaw? Ilang beses ka nab a nakakita ng nagvi-video call?

“Can you download directly from iTunes? This looks to be a big disappointment with the iPhone. Early reports, such as this iTWire interview with Apple's VP of iPod Products Greg Joswiak, say no.”

Why download from iTunes… eh ang dami kayang source other than them… medyo lenient kasi tayo with regards to piracy eh. and what the iPhone plays can actually be played in other phones… ibang format nga lang… this part I guess hindi kasi natin culture yung tipong you like a song? You down it from a certain site with your phone, madalas sa hindi sa internet natin to kinukuha, or hinihintay ma-bluetooth from a friend or whoever na meron.

“Just what does Apple mean by "it runs OS X"? And what do they mean by "multitasking"? During his keynote address, Steve Jobs mentioned the ability to multitask as one of Mac OS X's strong suits, as well as a reason why the operating system was chosen for the iPhone.”

Multitasking? That’s just overrated, almost all the phone in the market can do that… come on..

“Who's this phone for, anyway? Who can afford this thing?
This answer is simple: Paris Hilton.
The iPhone looks to be the next glamour phone, albeit one with serious potential. It's billed as a "smart phone," which brings to mind business users. At $599 for the 8GB model and $499 for the 4GB model, it's definitely priced for business users. “

Mahal ang iPhone. Period. Pero nito lang Apple dropped the price of the iPhones by almost $200! Hwow! and siempre it can’t just go like that it greatly infuriated the iPhone’s die hard fans… to soothen them up Apple gave them some $100 dollar credit, for their next Apple product purchase… Nakakatawa ba yun? Lugi ka pa rin ng $100!

“Will Apple give the user any freedom? Want to know why there's no memory card slots on the iPhone, nor will there likely be a user-replaceable battery?”

Yup… Ganun lang ka simple yun! Kung hindi nyo mabibili sa iba ang piyesa namin, san pa ba kayo bibili? Sheeesshh…

What goes into a cell-phone purchase? Cell phones aren't MP3 players. Even if Apple has the sexiest phone out there, many important factors come into play when anyone buys a cell phone.

Mabigat ang hamon ng Apple na i-conquer pati ang cellphone industry, napakabata pa nila sa ganun industriya at sobrang beterano na ng mga babanggain nila… if iPhone exceeds the fact that its being too costly and somehow gets to prove that they are not just riding over their hype name, they might have a more promising future. Pero kung puro payabang lang ang gagawin nila.. nah… I doubt they would even last that long… basta ako… personally I won’t leave my nokia phone (n73) to this golden priced smart-multimedia phone, besides wala akong pampalit… wehehe

@virginia
ang problema kasing malupit sa mga macbooks at sa kahit anong mga apple products, hindi mo macu-customize yung device mo without apple's consent... and all of the customization is for a fee of cors!
