Commercials Commercials

"Lunch? Who got time for lunch?" hmn... The guy from the Rice Burger Mcdo commercial don't seem to be a guy who is always busy and on the go... Palagay ko the campaign is a little bit off, puede k naman talagang kumain kahit nagbya-byahe ka, at kontra sa presyo, i'll always go for
shawarma...He he..

They say that its people's choice what to watch and not watch, but when it comes to these commercials, we don't have much of a choice but to endure them. Watch them and put a little thinking, are they logical, exaggerating or just plain mindless...Mindless, would include Mekeni Picnic Hotdogs commercial where some community stupidly dance to an equally stupid chant...

"Mekeni picnic hotdog ko... Mekeni picnic hotdog ko... Mekeni picnic hotdog ko..."

WTF?!

Kaya nga bilib ako dun sa Coke beat commercial ("ito ang beat sabay sabay..."), marami akong kakilala na kumabisado nun, matanda at bata, pero Mekeni Beef? I dont think so...

Under mindless, do i have to tell you the "Patubig ni Gloria" commercials? If it takes someone like the head of the government to mobilize these well... "small projects" no wonder why we have ill education, lowly clinics & hospitals, and police/military who are in just in the wait to withdraw support... I mean, these type of projects? Can't we just leave it to the municipalities and cities?

Exaggerating, marami siguro ang magfa-fall under this category, yung mga commercials ng Axe, ng Tide, Surf, Mr Clean, Whitening lotions, and even Sanitary Napkins, but they can't be more dangerous than the STI and AMA commercials, STI series of commercials shown one guy developing an elaborate network game, network administrator students that eradicate a network virus as if they are operating ala ER, and group of nursing students ganging to perform some life resucitacion pero mas malupit ang sa AMA! some child 12-14 years old, was shown to assemble an android that can do household task and who can forget the girl robot? Yung nawalan ng baterya at binuksan ang dibdib? Exaggaration is sure is an effective attention grabber, pero delikado i-exaggerate as if its a joke things like education... I was not amused by these craps, naisip ko e kung may ilan kayang estudyante ang nadisappoint after getting the real deal... Good thing these stuffs are no longer aired...

Logical, marami din namang ganyang commercials, yun tipong nagpro-promote ng values at may feel good jingle pa! Katulad ng commercial ng Alaxan, with The Dawn singing at the background...

"kahit anong pangarap, madadaan sa sipag, sipag at alaxan, para mas
magaan..."

how about the Sunsilk Girl Power campaign? Family Bonding ng Smart at Globe...

I'm kinda glad we still have these commercials, yung tipong nakakaentertain pa rin panoorin... At least they should be, kahit pa sabihing sila ang dahilan kung bakit may free tv...
